First year BA (Hons) Film, TV & Digital Media Production student, Alix Manolas, was invited to Warner Bros. for an exclusive screening of Sang-Il Lee’s Japanese remake of Clint Eastwood’s ‘Unforgiven’ called Yurusarezaru Mono. She was given the opportunity to interview the director for the Cineworld blog which is seen by approximately 120k people a month.

Students at Regent’s School of Drama, Film & Media on the BA (Hons) Film, TV & Digital Media Production and BA (Hons) Acting & Global Theatre course have made a short film called ‘Passionfruit Bananaphobia’ which was entered into a 48 Hour Film challenge for the Free Film Festivals and came third.
The film was then screened at Tate Britain on Friday 7th February 2014 as part of an exhibition called “Art Meets Moving Image“, where they were one of six award-winning young filmmakers who chose works of art from Tate Britain to pair with their short film.
John Walford is a name associated with fashion show excellence. His client list includes some of the most influential names in fashion such as Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Calvin Klein, and Donna Karan.
He is founder and director of the Vauxhall Fashion Scout, named as ‘London’s leading showcase for fashion innovation.’ He is Director of Walford Shows, and one of the founders of Graduate Fashion Week.

Professor Helen Storey MBE has been working across the disciplines of fashion and science for 15 years. She came to speak at Regent’s School of Fashion and Design to share one of her most recent projects, Catalytic Clothing.
The project focused on turning textiles into living, breathing materials that can purify surrounding air. This exploration brings to life the approaches of working with science and design in partnership and the exciting outcomes that can be delivered when opposite kinds of knowledge collide with purpose.

Kiss the Devil in the Dark is a dark fantasy film set in a mythical Victorian-era world. This is a story of magic, demons, love, lust, friendship, betrayal and hell.
The team behind the short horror film ‘Kiss the Devil in the Dark‘ have created a Kickstarter project to raise money for post-production. The production and the edit of the film have already been done, but they still require funding for Visual FX, Sound Design and Mixing, Score, Additional Dialogue Recording (ADR) and Color Processing and Grading.
