Following the Tutu Peace Summit for Youth held at Regent’s University London in March 2015, second year BA (Hons) Film, TV and Media Production students have created a campaign video as part of their ‘Campaign Production’ module.
Students chose the Tutu Foundation UK as the charity to work with and prepared a five minute campaign video to meet the needs of the organisation.
Monika Wilczynska was the student Producing & Directing this project. The students demonstrated their talents by creating a video that captured the essence of the Tutu Foundation UK and Peace Summit exceptionally well.
On 23 September Jeannine Saba, a London-based designer, set a live external project for Communication Design degree students. They have been tasked with the design of a front cover for the education supplement for Diplomat magazine which will be distributed in February. The winning design will be chosen in late November.
The students will also be contributing to the ‘Turner On The Terrace’ event being held at the Porterhouse Bar in Covent Garden on 22nd October. The event sees four artists – Chris Burke, Ben Tallon, Magnus Irvin and Pins – creating original artworks on the day, which will be auctioned for charity. The Porterhouse site was the birthplace of J.M.W. Turner and the event celebrates the forthcoming release of the film Mr Turner by Mike Leigh.
