Two creatives from M&C Saatchi, Darren Urquhart and Tom Smith (both top right in the image), delivered a highly stimulating talk on advertising to BA (Hons) Communication Design students at Regent’s University London.
M&C Saatchi is an international advertising agency network which formed in January 1995 by the brothers Maurice Saatchi and Charles Saatchi.

Last week Rebecca Ford, Assistant Manager of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA) Student Design Awards, came to present the current RSA student design briefs to the final year Communication Design and Interior Design students at Regent’s University London.
The Royal Society of the Arts is a charity which “encourages the development of a principled, prosperous society and the release of human potential” and use design to help build sustainable practices and intelligent design that will literally make the world a better place. Acting Foundation students from Regent’s School of Drama, Film & Media perform the play ‘Eurydice’ by Sarah Ruhl.
The production is a re-vamped Greek tragedy set in the 1950’s which also incorporates shadow puppetry.

Ornela Peka, first year BA (Hons) Film, TV & Digital Media Production student, was selected for this year’s Four Corners European script development series of workshops. This is a fast track training scheme for film school students and trainers.
Ornela and eight other Regent’s School of Drama, Film & Media students have just returned from the second of four workshops of the 2014 programme.

A trailer from 2nd year BA (Hons) Acting & Global Theatre students from Regent’s School of Drama, Film & Media (RSDFM) for the play ‘Three Sisters’ by Anton Chekhov.
Our students at Regent’s University London are involved in a number of creative projects throughout their studies. Their artistic individuality and innovative approaches to drama, film and media are showcased in this compilation video of the work they have produced over the past year.

Students at Regent’s School of Drama, Film & Media on the BA (Hons) Film, TV & Digital Media Production and BA (Hons) Acting & Global Theatre course have made a short film called ‘Passionfruit Bananaphobia’ which was entered into a 48 Hour Film challenge for the Free Film Festivals and came third.
The film was then screened at Tate Britain on Friday 7th February 2014 as part of an exhibition called “Art Meets Moving Image“, where they were one of six award-winning young filmmakers who chose works of art from Tate Britain to pair with their short film.
